Up North
Went to Manchester last week (with a detour to blissfully empty Blackpool) to see Don McCullin’s retrospective at the Imperial War Museum North. It was not planned as photographic trip but of course, needless to say, if one carries a camera one cannot avoid using it. These are just glances of both places. Manchester’s urban architecture and industrial heritage would merit a much longer stay - and lots of memory cards.
